Play Projects – Knights

Mrs Evans was in the class today and the bairns enjoyed doing a castle building activity to tie in with our play projects, knights. The bairns chose to work together or in groups and they had to plan a castle before going on to build it using whatever materials they wanted. They then had to share with the class to reflect on how they did. Some went on to create drawbridges out of the big blocks, helmets out of junk modelling, hama bead shields, stories about knights.. the list was endless!

Clay

P1/2 have made clay poppies and painted them and mounted and painted cardboard.  They make a lovely table display.

Gingerbread Men

Our very talented Louise created this great photo opportunity! We had it set out for our Big Play and bairns from across all classes wanted to have a photo… or two!

Big Play

We had an afternoon where we got to have a Big Play with the whole school. The bairns loved exploring the different classes and joining in with a variety of different games and activities as well as mixing with the different age groups. A great afternoon enjoyed by all.

Microbits with Primary 6/7

We were very lucky to have the P6/7 bairns in with us to show us all about Mircobits. They showed us how to program pictures, writing, music and even sending messages to each other in different rooms. We had a great time – thank you to Mrs Adamson and all the P6/7 bairns!

Christmas Concert

The primary 1/2 bairns did BRILLIANT with their Christmas concert. The sheep and angels put on a great performance and everyone did us so proud! A great performance from beginning to end!
