National 5/Higher Music Practical Prelims – Week beginning 18 November 2024 – every pupil will be timetabled for a 20 minute slot during the week. Pupils should be prepared to play as much of their performance programme as they can.
Advanced Higher Music Practical Prelims – Week beginning 10 February 2025 – every pupil will be timetabled for a 30 minute slot during the week. Pupils should be prepared to play as much of their performance programme as they can.
National 5/Higher final performance exams will take place the week beginning Monday 10 March 2025. Each pupil is given an individual exam time. They should come to the Music department 30 minutes prior to their exam time to warm up/get organised ready to start their exam on time.
Advanced Higher final performance exams will take place within the examination period of end of April and mid -May 2025. Date will be confirmed once Visiting Assessor has been appointed (beginning of April 2025)
Completion of Composition Assignments (all levels – N5/H/Ad H) – Friday 7 March 2025
28 April 2025 – Understanding Music listening exams (all levels – N5/H/AdH)
Results day – 2025 presentations – 5 August 2025
