I went camping in the holidays it was fun and we had spaghetti it was yummy. A different day we invited Phoebe camping.we brang charlie dog we plad shadow puppet it was fun.we had toast for breakfast

On 13th of August I went to Westsandwick beach and I went with Phoebe,Rosie ,Laura,Lucy and Martin I saw to dead jelly fishes.I swam in the sea and Me ,Lucy, Rosie and Martin got stung by jellyfish me and Phoebe played in the sandunes then we went home . Then we a bath to get the sand of it was mums birthday and we had curry for tea I enjoyed it. Then we went to grannys house for cake it was nice Lucy and dad walked home . We looked at wedding albums they had ones of uncle Jim and autie Cindy’s wedding and Mum and Dad’s wedding.

We went on the Swan and my hat fell in the sea off and it was funny. We went to eat our dinner down the stars we had sandwiches and we got to stear on the boat We got to pull the rope and we had to have team work and we had to coile it up and it was roking and we had to pull the sails up and we tride to get my hat back

We had a concert at the school on Monday it was fun my famly were there. First we sang the trowsie song then we did the ronds then we did zip-a-dee-doo-dah. Some people played musicul instruments like piano and fiddle. Lucy did well so did Mia. Then we went home.

On the 13th we went to sullom voe I learned that you have to go through security to get into sullomvoe just in case a person gets in and puts the gas tanks on fire and it will cause a huge fire and it could cause an explosion. People could get hurt. I learned what a electric fire extinguisher looked like it has a black strip around the top and a normal one is plain red I also learned that if you put Water on electic fire you will get electricuted. In the control they were lots of computers.We went to the canten I had beef mince and tatties we put our trays on a carousel after lunch we went to Sellaness in sellaness we saw the pollution unit and we saw skimmers the skimmers were made to get the oil out of the water.

The Lab In A Lorry came up to Shetland, The lorry was parked in front of Mid Yell School. The lorry was split into 3 sections, one of the section was sound waves and how they travel and the other was about Digital cameras and pinhole camera. When we were at the sound waves workshop we were shown how to make a sound with wine glasses. If you have a small glass and a wet finger the noise was loud, when we tried the medium glass the noise was quieter and when we tried the really big glass the noise was really quiet.
The last workshop was how a digital camera works. We had to look through a plastic box with a lens in it. The lady put on a really bright light so by the time we had finished my eyes were sore.

We went to Sellaness to go to Petrofac. We performed Da Trowie Song, The Rounds and Zip-ah-dee-doo-dah. All the schools in Shetland were there. The people that watched us were people from the old folks house. For lunch we went to the canteen. We watched everyone do their performance and my favourite one was the drummers.

I went to the monday scool concert and I was in it and we sung Zip-a-dee-doo-dah and the Trowie song. I got a certificate for doing really good water colours. My Mum and Dad were there.

Bruvoe school went to petrofac for a consert on Tuesday 26th June. We saing zip-a-dee-dah,trowie song and last was frere jaques three blind mice. At the end we got flags on the flags was petrofac and we got water bottles.

On the 13th June we went to Sullomvoe. We had a tore on the bus because we couldn’t wonder around. We went inside to talk about the fire extinguisher. They demonstrated the electrial fire it was noisy. They demonstated a water fire extinguisher it was not noisy. We had a turn on the water extinguisher we squeezed the handle then the water came out. I enjoyed the trip.

On Monday I had my last school concert at Burravoe since i am going into secondary after the holidays! We didn’t have a play or anything we just sang, played instruments, showed our work and presented power points!
On Monday afternoon at the school we re arranged the classroom so that there was rows of chairs and they were all facing the front so people could sit while we did our powerpoints! We also re arranged the middle room for when we were doing the musical bits! For the musical bits we sang The Trowie song, Zip-a-dee-do-da and Three blind mice and frere jacques as a round! We practiced all the musical bits including the instrumental bits! We had enough of practising and saved our voices for the real thing!
At night we came to school at 18:20 because it started at 18:30 and we wanted to be prepared! At half six we started off with the musical bits. Lucy played her Fiddle and she did good! Mia played the piano and everyone enjoyed it! Charlotte played Bad Romance by Lady Gaga on her guitar! Lucy lastly played her accordion and everyone enjoyed that too! We sang the Trowie song next and Lucy accompaniedus on the piano! We did the rounds next in our square shape and did the actions and all and I think everyone was impressed! We sang and played Zip-a-dee-do-da last because its a happy cheery song! Everyone had tea and biscuits for a while in the middle till they came and sat ready for the powerpoints and trophy giving! We went in age order with our powerpoints, Mia’s powerpoint was about the Swan trip, Charlottes was about Quad Blogging and The P7s was either about what has happened while being in P7 or through out our primary years! Miss Breyley announced who won the cups and Lucy got the big cup for overall musician and Charlotte got Most Improved. Miss Breyley also handed out the certificates and the book tokens we get! I had a good last concert at Burravoe!

We went to Sullom Voe and we saw a fire extinguisher and they were doing a practice fire and we tride to press the handle on the extinguisher. We saw fire engens and we saw in side and we had to go to the bus when they were going to beep the horn on the fire engen. The siren was loud and we all got a gluff ( fright ). We saw the canteen they were lots of people and lots of food. We saw lots in the controule room and we saw lots off computers and controuls I learned that the fire brigade is allways on duty in Sullom.

We held a concert to show it was the end of term. We performed songs and had a PPT presentation. The songs we played were Zip ah dee doo dah and Da Trowie Song and we did two different rounds at the same time in a kind of accordion way (two rows or pupils walked backwards and forwards towards each other). We did that then we went into the classroom for PPTs. I had one about me being P7. It had a few things we did in P7 like the Animation and After school club. There was a lot of parents and grand parents that came and we had tea and biscuits in the middle. We got certificates and mine said for being a good representer in the Advisory group. We got book tokens and mine had Wheres Wally I found Wally on it! We showed people our stuff on the walls then we went home. I had a cookie and milk at home.
