Burravoe Primary School

We went to Jarlshof and we went there to look at stone age buildings and we drew things that we saw. We went in old houses that they lived in.there were two bedrooms and a kitchen. We dressed up in clothes what they wore.We played a game some people threw a piece of wood to knock down blocks of wood.

At the Yell Show I made some rainbow cupcakes it had blue icing for the sky and sour rainbow sweets for a rainbow and  marshmallows for clouds it was really fun.I was quit proud with what I had done. I had done a few  practises and I eat them when I was finished they were delicious. with some of the practises I made differnt cakes too.

My butterflies eat leaves and they eat some butterfly food.They are red and black and I think white.

On Wednesday me and Rosie did shared reading. The book we did was Sam and Dave dig a whole.We drew Sam and Dave digging a Whole. We made them out of paper and then we coloured them in then we glued them onto card.

I did shared reading with Abby we did the book Winnie’s Big Bad Robot. I learnt that double sided tape is better then masking tape. We made a big good robot his name was Robobot. I like it when we do shared reading it’s fun. We used bottle lids for buttons and eyes.

In Romania  I went  to the beach and went on a boat  with my  friend  and swam in the deep open sea. I went to all sorts of museums in one I saw a mammoth skeleton. There was a little cottage full of butterflies  it was beautiful. other museums were castles  that no one lived in anymore. Me and my father went to the mountains and I gathered some rocks.In the last night I went to play in the play park.

At Edinburgh we went to the Zoo I saw a panda I also saw two  lions, penguins,  meerkats, reindeer, zebras, monkeys koalas and crocodiles. I also went to the gift shop I got a koala the koala is very cute. The best part of my holiday was the travelling. I liked going to the restaurants. I also went up Scot’s Monument it was very high they were lots of stairs. I went to the Castle and I got ice cream at the Castle I saw cannons. We also went to Camera Obscura there were lots of mirrors we could get bigger and smaller in the mirrors. I also went in a room and we saw the whole of Edinburgh we could take away people on a piece of paper.

At the Old Haa we saw an exhibition we took our sketch books to draw some of them. most of the pictures were faces. I had a great time at the Old Haa. My favourite picture was the picture of the pony I also drew it in my sketch book too. I needed to work more on the legs of the pony. We all had to draw a pair of eyes one of the eyes that I drew was really good and 0ne wasn’t as good.

We were tidying up the garden after the holidays we were pulling up weeds.

At go ape it it really fun it is a tree top adventure and there is a course in the air and I was the only one in my group so I got two staff to my self my  a mum and Phoebe went in a group together after I got two stickers and I got a T-shirt and Phoebe got a jumper I really want to go there next year on holiday.
