Burravoe Primary School

On Wednesday me and Rosie did shared reading. The book we did was Sam and Dave dig a whole.We drew Sam and Dave digging a Whole. We made them out of paper and then we coloured them in then we glued them onto card.

I did shared reading with Abby we did the book Winnie’s Big Bad Robot. I learnt that double sided tape is better then masking tape. We made a big good robot his name was Robobot. I like it when we do shared reading it’s fun. We used bottle lids for buttons and eyes.

In Romania  I went  to the beach and went on a boat  with my  friend  and swam in the deep open sea. I went to all sorts of museums in one I saw a mammoth skeleton. There was a little cottage full of butterflies  it was beautiful. other museums were castles  that no one lived in anymore. Me and my father went to the mountains and I gathered some rocks.In the last night I went to play in the play park.

At Edinburgh we went to the Zoo I saw a panda I also saw two  lions, penguins,  meerkats, reindeer, zebras, monkeys koalas and crocodiles. I also went to the gift shop I got a koala the koala is very cute. The best part of my holiday was the travelling. I liked going to the restaurants. I also went up Scot’s Monument it was very high they were lots of stairs. I went to the Castle and I got ice cream at the Castle I saw cannons. We also went to Camera Obscura there were lots of mirrors we could get bigger and smaller in the mirrors. I also went in a room and we saw the whole of Edinburgh we could take away people on a piece of paper.

At the Old Haa we saw an exhibition we took our sketch books to draw some of them. most of the pictures were faces. I had a great time at the Old Haa. My favourite picture was the picture of the pony I also drew it in my sketch book too. I needed to work more on the legs of the pony. We all had to draw a pair of eyes one of the eyes that I drew was really good and 0ne wasn’t as good.

We were tidying up the garden after the holidays we were pulling up weeds.

At go ape it it really fun it is a tree top adventure and there is a course in the air and I was the only one in my group so I got two staff to my self my  a mum and Phoebe went in a group together after I got two stickers and I got a T-shirt and Phoebe got a jumper I really want to go there next year on holiday.

I have been to Scalloway when I was there I went to the pier Then I went up the gaily way and in to the poop deck of the Settler. The Settler is my Dads boat he use it for farming salmon. I was going to go on the Settler for a day and a half I stayed up quite late watching movies and speaking to the crew at the time. In the morning we went from Scalloway all the way to Lerwick we had to go all the way down to Sumburgh and back up to Lerwick the Journey took 5 hours. It was quite good I took photos and my Dad and some other people pointed out islands and other places. When we got to Lerwick they put a new logo on the side of the boat to get it on the had to in a speed boat so came a long for the ride we dropped the other guy off and the went around the Lerwick Pier. When we got back my mother came to Lerwick and picked me up and brought me home.

On Friday we did gardening. One of our P4 picked all the gooseberries of  the gooseberry bush. All of us did the gardening we had to pull out cauliflowers with caterpillars on them. We did not only pull out cauliflower as well we pulled out the weeds. we did a competition.  There were two groups whatever group filled their bag first that team won. our group won.

We went to the Old Haa to look at an exhibition to do with Alana Spence. The wall displays were Alana’s Paintings. We had a Sketch Books to draw the pictures to remember them. We showed each other our drawings. We did a sketch of the drawings

In the summer holidays I went Camping with Sonia, Filip, Mum and Karolina. most of the time Sonia was at activity camp so it was just me and Filip. I did a lot of things and I probably wont be able to remember all of the things so I will just talk about my highlights.
