The Mess Up Before Christmas
We are doing a Christmas Play called The Mess Up Before Christmas. I am the chief sheep in the play. I have learned that you need to do expression even if it is not you saying the your bit and the language on your face so the audience can see how your feeling in the play even when you aren’t saying anything , and I learned how important it is to speak up so everyone can hear so all you’re hard work of writing it doesn’t go to waste. It’s about the Chief Sheep and Santa and Mrs Claus and 5 sheep. I think it went better in the real performance than in rehearsal because the little ones spoke up because when it was in rehearsal then Miss Breyley kept on interrupting because the little ones were not speaking up so no one could hear them but in the performance it was really good.

Our Sheep Pictures
This Term we have been doing a project on Food for Thought. One of the things that we did was draw some sheep, lambs or rams. First we made a sketch of what we thought our sheep would look like and then we brought our sheep sketch to life by going to look at Jennifer’s sheep to make our sheep features way more realistic, I am really proud of my sheep, I think it one of the best things I’ve ever drawn.

Into Film Club Workshop
Robert from Into Film came to do a workshop. We talked about Zoom ups and the 4 different types of zoom ups. We did actions of what the zoom ups is. We had to clap when it zooms up. We also guessed a film that was playing in Audio. It was a mini film animation called Sausage. We had to guess what was going on in that scene. Then we watched that scene and after that we wrote a review. They were what you liked about it, didn’t like about it, What you could have done to make it better.

Cold frames
We used our 200 pounds to buy a cold frames. We didn’t get one of line. Somebody made it for us because the ones on line could not handle the wind. Somebody made is wind prof and it is rose its easy to move around. You can put trays in and also just have some soil in the bottom of the cold frames and put some plants in the bottom and in the trays. This is going to be very useful for when we are growing plants that need to be in hotter places.

Our Christmas Play
This year we wrote our own Christmas Play we named the play, The Mess Up Before Christmas. We were thinking about sheep when we were getting our ideas together for the Christmas Play because we have been learning a lot about sheep in the Food for Thought project. So it turned out that most of the characters in the play were sheep.
