Energy Recovery Plant
When the school went to the Energy Recovery Plant they had to wear hard helmets and special glasses they were wearing them because they had to be safe. They went to see a big claw that picked up all the rubbish I learned that they take the rubbish to the furnace. A man was controlling the claw and the man took it right up to the window so that they could all see what was in the rubbish. In the rubbish they saw a big pillow. Then they all went to a place where they saw the furnace behind some doors, the furnace was very hot.
After they went to the Energy Recovery Plant they went to the land fill it was very smelly. There were a lot of seagulls at the land fill I learned the seagulls were looking for food.
