On Thursday the 14th of November Honor and Melissa did baking for Children in Need. They washed their hands and they put on their aprons because it saves people from getting germs in their food. In their recipe they used 250g butter, 140g caster sugar, 1 egg yolk, 2 tsp vanilla extract, 300g plain flour and one lemon and mixed it. They put it in the fridge for 30 minutes and took it out to roll the mixture. When they rolled it and shaped it to how they wanted it they put it in the oven. They took it off the tray with a spatula and they had their biscuits! Honor learned how to zest a lemon and Melissa learned to squeeze a lemon.

Well done a good report of what you did 🙂 I think I could make the lemon biscuits now I’ve read this; I might just need to know how hot to have the oven and how long to leave them in for. They tasted delicious, very lemony!
