Welcome to Primary 4! We are a fantastic class of 25 pupils (11 boys and 14 girls). We are a very lively, energetic class who love all aspects of school life. We are working hard to be responsible and to follow our class charter, so we can enjoy our rights. We are encouraged to try as hard as we can, to be the very best that we can be. Our class teacher is Mrs Paterson and Miss Phillips teaches us on a Friday. Mrs Smith and Mrs Thorrat work with us throughout the week to help us with our learning too.

Primary 4 are a very creative class who enjoy taking part in expressive arts and particularly love arts and crafts. We are so excited to take part in MADD Mondays this session, where we will work with our friends from first level classes (P2-P4). All pupils will have the opportunity to take part in a ten week swimming lessons block at The Citadel in Ayr. All children are excited to develop new skills and increase their confidence as they progress through the sessions.

We are excited to explore a variety of I.D.L topics this year, including ‘ Body Builders (The Human Body), ‘Christmas Around the World, ‘Highland Games’ and  ‘Back to Earth’  We will also have the opportunity to select our own class topic and will be taking part in a whole school topic later on in the session.

Primary 4 will be leading our ‘Harvest Service’ this year, as we team up with both Primary 3 classes to perform in the Church before the October holidays.

We are looking forward to a fun filled year making lots of special memories on our P4 learning journey.
