The pupils were fantastic when they sang at this local music festival. Huge congratulations to our new captains and leadership pupils. Excellent speeches were delivered this morning, followed by a whole school democratic vote. Pupil and adult voice is very important in Fisherton primary…..the people have spoken! pic.twitter.com/gBKDfDYAc3

We stepped inside and tried to empathise with people in situations with their rights not being respected.

We held a quiz, with real buzzers!

We wandered round the art gallery created by P5-7. The gallery will be displayed in school for all visitors to see tomorrow at our Fisherton Festival. We hope this will help raise awareness of some of the issues that refugees face. We left feedback for the artists.

Lots of fun had at the farm park, even the spitting camels, attacking seagulls and the drizzley rain didn’t dampen our day!!
Well done to Mia who received a literacy award at this week’s assembly for her work on nouns, verbs and adjectives. Great job Mia.
Leith’s award was given for his fantastic numeracy work in which he has been counting on and back across 100. Well done Leith.
We got started on our second graffiti project today. All children will have an opportunity to contribute to our welcome wall. They are writing our values and using rights respecting words to build up a colourful wall to welcome visitors . We’ll upload a picture of the finished wall very soon!

Another fantastic day for Fisherton sports day.
