Parent Council Meeting
The next parent council meeting will take place on Wednesday 1st November at 6.00pm at Kennedy Hall. All are welcome.
Eco Warriors
Our Eco Warrior after school club is on a Tuesday from 3.00pm – 4.00pm starting 19th September. Please assure that children have suitable old clothing for these activities. Thank you

P.5 – 7 Multi-sports After School Club is running from 3.00pm – 4.00pm every Wednesday from 6th September until 11th October.
This week’s superstars are ..
Congratulations to all those from the big class that received certificates at this week’s celebrating success assembly.
Brigham and Kyle were both recognised for being fabulous fact finders.
Martha was the Big Class’ Dojo Champ and Lucy was awarded for showing superb leadership skills during outdoor learning.
Lucy received a further certificate for writing a super piece of writing titled “If I Ruled the World”. Well done.

Congratulations to all those from the wee class that received certificates at this week’s celebrating success assembly.
Firstly well done to Harvey who won a personal achievement award for getting changed quickly for P.E. Ollie was rewarded for being Big Maths Champion in the wee class. Charlie was last week’s Dojo Champ and Kyra got an award for being a handwriting superstar. Well done to you all.
Celebrating Success 1st Week Back
Well only back a week and we are already celebrating successes in both classes.
Congratulations to Harvey and Charlie who impressed Mrs Holland with their superb handwriting.
Also well done to our first Dojo Champs of the session – Matthew and Mia. 🙂
K’Nex Finalists
A big congratulations to Christopher and Martha who made it to the K’Nex Challenge West of Scotland Final. Impressive stats time …

10,230 pupils took part in the competition and they made the final 28!

256 primary schools entered the competition and they made the last 14.

We were the only school in South Ayrshire to reach the finals.
What an excellent achievement by Christopher and Martha. We are very proud.
Calum is Celebrating Success
Well done to Calum who won a personal achievement award at assembly today. Calum has been helping the ladies in the nursery tidy up. Good job Calum.
Celebrating Success in the Big Class
Well done to Amalie and Elsi who received recognition at this week’s assembly.
Amalie thought outside the box last week and chose a creative comic strip to display her author research. What a clever idea!
And Elsi played in the brass section at the Carrick Academy Summer Concert which was held in Maybole Town Hall on Friday night. Great show!
