Wee Class Winners
Well done to Mia who received a literacy award at this week’s assembly for her work on nouns, verbs and adjectives. Great job Mia.
Leith’s award was given for his fantastic numeracy work in which he has been counting on and back across 100. Well done Leith.
Super Duper
This week Cara, Elsi and Nikkita all received literacy certificates for the super job that they had done on creating Rights Respecting labels for our display boards.
Matthew received a maths award for hi enthusiasm in completing the Rigour Challenges and Christopher received a certificate in recognition of his honesty and responsibility concerning school matters.
Well done winners.
Success Stories
Well done, firstly, to our Primary 7 pupils who delivered a session at assembly about their survival camp and with a focus on the plight of refugees and rights.
Also well done to our netball team who were placed in the Maiden’s Tournament – no mean feat.

Celebrations

Harvey received a maths award for super measuring skills. Anna and Mia both got literacy awards for excellent letter writing.

Ollie and Charlie both got literacy award for super sentences, openers and WOW words. Great job boys. Charlie was also awarded his Dojo Champ certificate.
Reach for the Stars!
The Big Class have had great opportunities to excel over the past week. Four of our P.7s survived survival camp at the weekend. Five pupils attended the Ayrshire orienteering competition and none of them got lost!!! Plus …. our debating won their debate at County Hall. WOW!!!
Lucy got awarded her certificate for always adhering to our school values. Great job Lucy.

Netball
Our final netball afterschool will take place on Thursday 24th May. Many thanks to all our volunteers – past pupils and members of our community for their coaching and support.
Great Work
Well done to our high achievers this week.
Lacey and Leith were both Dojo Champs in the wee class. Charlie got an Achievement Certificate for always trying his best and working hard and Harvey got a Literacy Award for learning and knowing all his tricky words. Well done to you all.
