No Scotland No Party!
Our P5, 6 and 7 had great fun this morning at Nick Morgan’s ‘No Scotland, No Party!’ Tour to celebrate Scotland taking part in this year’s World Cup in America! We then joined in with football related games on the Low Green – thanks to Thriving Communities for organising. Here’s hoping for some great results this month! It has been a busy term for the Rights Respecting School Committee. We are currently working towards our Silver Accreditation and hope to achieve it this term. The committee ran a School Mascot competition where pupils were challenged to create a character with a name to highlight children’s rights within the school. The RRS committee created a short list of their favourites before the pupils voted for their favourite. Jessica’s design was voted the winner. Look out for Donald the Dailly Duck our displays around the school. We have also created our Rights wall which displays our rights of theP7/6 ACE day

P7 had a fantastic time at the Rotary Club’s Primary Careers Fayre today at Ayr Town Hall. They had the opportunity to find out about different career paths and the skills that are required in different jobs including chefs, engineers, pilots, NHS positions and ecology to name just a few. In fact there were over 30 careers represented. It was a fantastic experience. Huge thanks go to the Rotary Club for organising this annual event.World Book Day 2026
Thank you to all of the parents and carers who joined us for World Book Day activities. We had a super morning listening to ‘Chaos at the Chocolate Factory’ and then completed some fun activities. We then got into groups and created our own machines that could be used in Wonka’s Factory!
