Kids Church – 5th Sunday of Lent

30/03/2022 Mrs McAllan

This Sunday, Jesus draws something in the sand to get his message across.  Be ready to listen to the Gospel at Kids Church this week.

It is Lent week 5 and remember all of us still have the time to Pray more, Give more and Fast more this Lent.  Think about what you can do today to help others, especially those supported by SCIAF.

UNCRC – Article 28

Right to Education: Every child has the right to an education. Primary education must be free and different forms of secondary education must be available to every child. Discipline in schools must respect children’s dignity and their rights. Richer countries must help poorer countries achieve this.

UNCRC – Article 29

Goals of Education: Education must develop every child’s personality, talents and abilities to the full.  It must encourage the child’s respect for human rights, as well as respect for their parents, their own and other’s cultures, and the environment.

UNCRC – Article 18

Parental Responsibilities and State Assistance: Both parents share responsibility for bringing up their child and should always consider what is best for the child.

Governments must support parents by creating support services for children and giving parents the help they need to raise their children.
