As it is the last week of term there will be no formal homework. Our spelling rule is magic e with long vowel e and will be completed in class.

Our P2 Christmas party is on Thursday afternoon. Your child should come to school in their uniform with their party clothes in a bag with their name on it to later change into.

P2 Homework W.B 28.10.19

Hello ,

I hope that you all had a lovely weekend.

Your child has been issued a maths homework jotter. Inside of the jotter a maths grid has been created for learning covered across the whole term.  Please choose 1 activity per week to complete and revisit over the course of that week. This will reinforce the teaching covered in school. Your child can include things like pictures, sums and working inside of their jotter to help them complete tasks.

Handy tips

  •  Remember there is a 100 square in your child’s homework diary.
  • Challenge your child as you see fit.
  • Remember to use Sumdog as an additional resource for your child’s learning.

Co-op parent helpers

Hello everyone,

I hope that you all had a great long weekend!

Can our parent helpers for the co-op (we have spoken to these people or written a note back in homework diaries) come to our classroom for 1.55pm on Thursday in order to leave at 2pm. We should be back just after 2.30pm.

Two letters have been placed in your child’s book bag, one reminder for each child to bring £1 if possible to the co-op and the other your parent’s night appointments. If there are any issues please let us know as soon as possible in order to accommodate you as best we can. Slips should be returned as soon as possible to confirm your attendance.

As the sumdog contest is part of maths homework this week, we have placed your child’s sumdog username and password at the back of their diary (or front depending on where it was stuck). Sumdog can be accessed via this link:

A reminder that tomorrow and Thursday are photo days.

Thanks
