We have close links with many nurseries within the council. Our transition teacher Mrs watts works closely with our feeder nurseries to ensure smooth transitions for pupils starting school. We have a range of transition events for pupils who are starting at Newmains Primary in August. If your child has received a place at Newmains Primary School you will receive more information about these events. Miss Edmonstone, Depute Head Teacher has responsibility for transitions to Newmains Primary School and as part of our transition process tries to visit pupils in nurseries before they come to school.
