The Eco Committee consists of a representation from across the school.  They meet regularly to discuss the Environmental Wellbeing of Newmains Primary.  At the beginning of each session the Committee conducts an Environmental Review and creates an action plan for the year ahead.  This session the key focuses are on Citizenship, Climate Action and Litter and Waste.  The Committee are supporting the school as it works towards being a Gold Award Rights Respecting School, they have responsibility for the Paper Recycling which is done weekly and have created a sub committee known as LEAF to tackle the elements of Climate Action.  The Committee hope to achieve their 6^th Green Flag this session.
