Partnership with Parents
At all stages parents are encouraged to play an active role in the partnership which the school and parents share in the children’s education.
We are always grateful for the assistance of parents in school activities, so if you have any special skills, or some spare time, please don’t hesitate to volunteer. Many parents tell us how much they gain from their experiences helping in the school.
If you have any concerns about your child you should contact the school. Parents are welcome at the school at any time. Generally a member of the promoted staff will be able to see you, although there may be occasions when it is necessary to arrange a mutually convenient time for a meeting. You may wish to telephone to speak with a member of promoted staff or to arrange a meeting.
If you wish to make a complaint about an aspect of the service we provide please contact the Head Teacher. Parents are invited to the school at least twice each year to consult the class teacher about their child’s progress. Promoted staff and class teachers also speak with parents at other times when necessary.
Information about the school and activities involving the children is issued in regular newsletters. At times letters are sent home with a return slip at the bottom of the page. It is helpful if you return the slip.
