- Spelling words: Write these twice more in your jotter. Complete Activity 2 and one other activity.
- Reading: Please aim to read all of your reading books in the week. This can be done in ‘chunks’ over a few days.
- Maths: Sumdog challenge on times tables. If anyone is unsure how to log on please contact the teacher.
- Talk Homework: Our Scottish Concert is fast approaching! It would be great if you could practise your words for ‘The Jeely Piece Song’ and ‘The Boy on the Train’.
- Technology: Mr Lowitt would like us to collect shoe boxes over the next few weeks for a project. We are looking for the kind that has a removable lid.
- P.E days for P3b have changed to a Tuesday and Wednesday for the next 5 weeks, but remain Tuesday and Friday for P3a

Room on the Broom
We have been reading Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson for the past few weeks and have really enjoyed the story. On Thursday we made our very own witch’s hat using melted chocolate (Fairtrade of course, since Fairtrade Fortnight begins today) and a waffle cone, with sprinkles and marshmallows for decoration.
We know how important is is to wash our hands before touching food and tried very hard not to make too much mess.
On Monday, we wrote a recipe for our witch’s hat in case anyone else wants to make one too.
