Yesterday turned out to be nicer than expected so I hope you took advantage. Remember not to stress over the tasks set by your teacher. We know all your circumstances are different and people will be able to access and complete the tasks at different rates and time. Do what you can, we are almost there! I believe Joe Wickes has cut back his times this week but there are lots of other sites available so get active and enjoy searching for inspiration.
Unfortunately the weather is not to be so nice today but I know you’ll keep yourselves busy indoors. Remember it is still important to keep in touch with your friends. Pop into the Chill Out zone and say hello and catch up. I’ve enjoyed seeing some of the Gifs and pictures you have posted there! The same good manners rules that we have in school apply but you know that already.
We hope you continue to stay well. You are all still working hard and doing a great job. We continue to be amazed at the work we see you posting each day. We are really proud of all you are achieving during this unusual time. Keep it up and remember do only what is right for you and your family.
I hope you all had a lovely weekend. It was glorious yesterday. Plenty of gardening time! As we begin a new week remember to do your best but also to take regular breaks. We’re almost there.
Another week gone. Two more to go. Thank you very much for another busy and successful week. The teachers are really enjoying seeing your lovely work and appreciate the support of all the parents. We have become ICT wizards… Keep it up.
Enjoy the weekend and hopefully the sun will shine for a while again.
We will continue to offer a critical childcare service for the children of single parents who are key workers or for children with two parents if they are both key workers. We are also supporting children and young people from vulnerable families.
We have already contacted key workers and families who are currently using our service. If you think you meet the criteria for this support, you can find out more and how to apply on the council’s website.
I hope everyone is well. The days are flying in as we approach the end of another busy week. We hope that the P7 and P1 children are all set for their transitions now. A very different end to this school year.
Have a nice day and hopefully you will be able to stay dry in the outdoors today.
Not such a nice day today but the gardens will welcome the water. I hope everyone is well and keeping busy. Having something planned to do is very important in these different days. Remember not to work too hard and take regular breaks. Maybe a board game today!
For week four, we missed out on the top 10 but have managed to make 9th place in the overall leader board. Here is the challenge set by our Active School Coordinators for week four. It is the step up challenge:
Another sunny day. Only 3 weeks until the end of term, how time flies!
I hope you are all keeping yourselves active. We still have Joe Wickes each morning and I know lots of you are going out on family walks. It’s great that we have the opportunity to do this. Something good out of the bad. Have a lovely day.
When planning for a return to school in August, where possible, Primary School and Nursery age siblings will be allocated the same days in their respective establishments.
To help up to plan for this we would be grateful if you could inform us of any nursery age siblings and the nursery that they currently attend or will attend in August 2020.
Please do this by emailing the details of your child and the name of the nursery they attend. This will be of great help and will ensure we liaise with each nursery as appropriate.
Please send the email to bishoptonenquiries@renfrewshire.gov.uk
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.
I hope you had a relaxing weekend and managed to catch up with some friends and family. As we start a new week remember to take time for yourself as well as the usual hard work and commitment. We are always amazed and proud of the effort and imagination you continue to show and are loving seeing your pictures and comments.
I have to report that we have had an exceptional number of positive comments praising our Talent Show Stars! A great success. Well done to all of our entertaining finalists who did amazingly well. A plethora of talent.
Once again I must thank you all, pupils, parents and staff, for working so hard and giving Bishopton’s Best. Have a lovely weekend and hopefully we will see the sun back.
Please take some time this afternoon to watch the talent from P1 to P7 in our school. Every year we give you the opportunity to audition for the talent show and then show your talent to the whole school in a live performance. This year, it had to be a bit different but I think you’ll agree that the end result is of a very high standard. Thank you to everyone who auditioned and a huge well done to them too.
Good morning everyone. I hope this finds you safe and well.
I have to say that I have enjoyed popping in and out of your class meetings, even though I can’t see you all! It’s great to catch up and hear your news. Remember to watch your class posts this afternoon for the link to then talent show finalists. You’re in for a real treat. What a talented bunch you are!
Have a good day and remember to have plenty of breaks and take some time for yourself.
Well, after lots of practising and filming from the pupils and some tough decision making from Mrs McNaught, Mrs Davidson, Mrs McLean, Mr McAvoy and myself, the time has come for the reveal of Bishy’s Got Talent 2020.
The hyperlink to the video will be published in your class Teams channel tomorrow afternoon. So get ready for a fun-filled video showing off talent that will blow your socks off!
If you sent an audition video to me, you will need to wait to see the video to see if you got through! Fingers crossed and well done!
The parental questionnaire closes today. We really value your feedback. If you have not already done so, please take a few minutes today to share your thoughts with us.
Today we have to thank our neighbour, Jim, for painting the bright and colourful rainbow on to our wall. This symbol of hope and togetherness really brightens up our school and reminds us to look out for each other in these very challenging times. Thank you so much Jim.
I hope you all manage to get outside and enjoy the outdoors today as well as the good work you continue to do online. Have a lovely day.
Good Morning everyone. I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weather. We have been so lucky so far this year!
We continue to see wonderful work and I know Miss McDowall has been busy Tweeting some examples. Everyone is doing so well and we continue to be delighted with the ability and creativity of our talented pupils.
Have a lovely day in the sun and remember to make the most of it.
