P1-3 Athletics Club
The Sport Committee visited the P1-3 Athletics club yesterday lunchtime. The pupils were very busy with their assault course. Here are some pictures of them in action.

- We will be watching the film version of Goodnight Mister Tom on Friday 31st March. As it is a PG, we would appreciate if you would let us know if you do not wish your child to watch the film so we can arrange an alternative activity.
Primary 6/7 STEM Club
Today we looked at renewable energies and then created a wind powered car. The group were given the materials list and then creatively developed their models.
Here are some pictures of their fantastic work which was all completed over lunchtime.
The videos of the testing were too large to fit onto the website so I will share them at the next session.
Primary 6/7 Football Team
The team had a tough game against St Anne’s Primary today. It turned into a very windy afternoon making it a difficult for both teams. The team played some good football against the wind and rain. Well done to St Anne’s who scored some lovely goals.

P6/7 Lunchtime STEM club
Today we were creating tin foil boats and compared them to see which could hold the most amount of marbles without sinking.
We used our adapting skills to modify the boats to improve their performance.
Another very enjoyable lunchtime, keep up the great work!

P6/7 Lunch Time STEM Club
Today we started our lunch time STEM club. We will be looking at different aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths through group challenges.

Congratulations from the Sport Committee
A massive congratulations to all of our pupils who took part in our Extra Curricular Clubs in terms 1 and 2.

Last week we visited Clydebank Library to learn more about the Clydebank Blitz as we started our new topic. We learned more about this significant event and created our own Morse code machines. After this we looked at different items from the event.

Healthy Living Masterclass

Junior Soccer Sevens Football Tournament
The Primary 6 boys put in a fantastic performance at the Junior Soccer Sevens Tournament.
There were some excellent goals and impressive displays of teamwork.The team scored 6 goals conceding only 3.
Well done to all involved, it was great to see so many friends and family down watching the team.
Writing Competition
Well done to Erin who had some of her short stories and poems published in the Old Oak Tree Chronicles.
