    Today we had our School Christmas lunch. There was lots of singing  and empty plates.  Well done to our P7 helpers who did a fantastic job.

  • Sport Scotland Gold Award

    Bishopton Primary has achieved the Gold Sport Scotland School Sport Award!

    The Gold School Sport Award is recognition for our achievements in putting sport at the heart of our school’s planning, practice and ethos.

    Fiona Mathie from Sport Scotland visited the school today to present the flag to our Sport Committee at the Primary 1-3 and 4-7 assemblies.

    The Sport Committee would like to thank all of the teachers, coaches, volunteers and especially the pupils who made this possible. Well done everyone!!!

    The Primary 5-7 Netball Club represented the school in the recent tournament in Renfrew High School.

  • Football Team – Soccer 7s

    The football team competed in the Soccer Sevens Tournament today at Ferguslie Sports Centre.
    We played against four different teams and scored some wonderful team goals. It was great to see such team spirit after some difficult matches.

    Well done to the boys scoring 8 goals and conceding 0!!!

    The football team played against Bargarran in another entertaining match. Both teams tried to play good football and there were great individual and team performances for both schools.
    Well done to Bargarran who edged victory with some excellent finishing and a thank you to our volunteers for making the game possible.

    The football team played in a very exciting game against Barsail Primary today with our opposition just edging victory in an 8 goal thriller. Both teams played some great football with excellent goals and both keepers made some terrific saves.
    Well done to both teams for serving up an entertaining match!
