What a wonderful day the P7s had at the Emirates Arena for the Badminton World Championships yesterday. We watched champion badminton stars from all over the world compete in the arena and we then visited the velodrome for the Big Hit festival. The children enjoyed developing badminton skills through a variety of activities from coaches at Badminton Scotland. We even brought a box of free badminton rackets back for the school!

The children were also lucky enough to touch the Queen’s baton, which is travelling through Scotland at the moment. P6 pupils are attending the Big Hit festival today and I’m sure they will love the experience as much as we did.
