P2 pupils have been learning all about author and illustrator Alex T. Smith. We watched his Author’s Live event at the BBC studios and followed his instructions to illustrate his character Claude.

We also used our imaginations to ‘Picture This’- part of another story about a young boy who bravely fought off a lion!

Mrs Gibney chose 3 finalists and the class voted for their favourite illustrations. Well done to Jamie and Sophie McG. who were our champions and got to choose something from our prize box. Future illustrators in the making!
