Raymond Antrobus

This week we have been listening to the work of Raymond Antrobus. The class have discussed his poem, ‘I Want the Confidence of’ and another beautiful one about faith, by a poet call Linnet, aged 15.

We then thought about something we lack: confidence, loyalty, luck, bravery, a best friend. We compared this with people, animals and objects we imagine have this quality. We’d love to hear your thoughts on our work.

Raymond Antrobus  is a poet, writer and investigator of missing sounds. Check out his website and his poem, ‘The First Time I Wore Hearing Aids’. It is a profound insight into his world.
