I Want Luck

I want  the luck of a horse who gets offered a treat at the end of a long ride on the beach with the waves splashing and curling ,

Of an eagle when it spots the perfect fat mouse for it tea whilst flying high about the fields,

Of that glass that was dropped  but never smashed or spilled the coke I wasn’t meant to be drinking,

Of my old hamster called Ginger who could sleep all day and party all night keeping me up due to the noise,

Of a blue tit who can fly up into the blue sky away from danger.

  1. Well done with the edits Eleanor. It makes your poem’s images rich.
The first line is my favourite.
