We’ve captured some of the wonderful work that went on during National Digital Learning Week in Perth & Kinross. From early years through to the senior phase, young people are getting the opportunity to interact with learning using digital tools that are meaningful, relevant and engaging. We’ve made some films to give you a sense of the kinds of things that go on across our schools:
FREE for teachers this is the 6th Annual Conference held by Holyrood Magazine with a rich and engaging agenda
The Learning Through Technology event features a key line-up of speakers who will demonstrate how we can best embed digital technology into school education and assessment, increase the confidence of educators and improve access to technology across Scotland.
Why you should attend:
Gain insights into innovative practice putting technology at the heart of teaching and learning
Discover new developments in classroom resources and assessment tools that you can use in your school to enhance digital learning
Explore the potential of digital teaching and learning to raise attainment
The National Digital Learning Week runs from 15-19 May with the theme of #DigitalDifference. Across Perth and Kinross Council(PKC) and nationally throughout the week, you’ll see people sharing and celebrating the digital approaches which make a positive impact on classroom practice.
PKC will be sharing case studies on the small and sometime big steps individual teachers and schools make on their journey with digital learning and teaching tools.
If you are a teacher or school in PKC and would like to share what you have been doing then you can use your website or twitter or your other social media channels to share that with the world. If you add the hashtag #DigitalDifference and tag @PKCEducation into your posts we’ll be able to capture the wide range of activity going on across Perth and Kinross.
You can also contact your Digital Learning and Teaching Officer, Michael Conlon, who could come and film some of your work for sharing: mconlon@pkc.gov.uk
