Fairview Inspection Findings.

Good morning everyone.

It is with great pleasure that I can finally share the recent inspection findings with you.  Lovely news as we head towards the end of term.  I know it all seems like a million years ago, but this is something for the whole school community to be very, very proud of! Of course, there is still work to be done but after experiencing the amazing team work, determination and care shown to our pupils and to each other over the last 3 months, I am sure that there is nothing that can stop us!

It would have been lovely to have shared this news with you all in person, however, that is not to be.  I could not be prouder of our school, the pupils, the staff and the families.

Well done Team Fairview, you are all incredible. #simplythebest

Take care everyone, look forward to the celebration one day in the not too distant future!

Learning and Teaching Policy

Learning and Teaching Policy May 2025-26

A school’s learning and teaching policy in Scotland is a document that outlines how a school plans to support its students’ development within the framework of the national Curriculum for Excellence. It details the school’s specific approaches to teaching, such as active learning, collaborative work, and how it aims to develop the four capacities: successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens, and effective contributors. The policy provides a clear framework for educators, ensuring consistency and aligning teaching strategies with the school’s overall educational goals and the needs of its community.
