☆Garden Opening☆

Today we had our grand opening of the gardens in our school.

It was a chance to say a big thank you to all the parents and other helpers who helped transform our north garden and nursery garden to what they are today!

P6/7 also read out thank you’s and Mrs Julie Davies officially opened the garden.

We then went round to the playground where all the children got to play a variety of games and parents were treated to strawberries and cream.

Thank you again to everyone who helped transform our gardens and to those who came along today.

Summer Fair

Thank you to everyone who came along, organised and helped today with our Summer Fair.

We had many stalls and activities including;

About £1600 was raised. Fantastic!!

Thank you all again!

Sports Day

Well…..the rain held off and we had a great Sports Day!
All the children from Nursery right up to P7 took part. First of all they took part in potted sports in their house teams.
After a short break they competed in the Tattie and Spoon Race, the Sack Race, the Running Race and then the Relay Race.
The house team which won this year was Orchil!
Thank you very much to all our volunteers, who helped to run this. Also thank you to Mrs Dawson and Mr Irvine who organised it all.

Easter Get Together and Daffodil Tea

Please come along to our Easter Get Together in Braco Church on Friday 4th. March, 2014.

We will be wearing our Easter bonnets then performing our Get together.
A Daffodil Tea will take place in the Church Hall after this.
Update
We had a super service!
First of all the children paraded in their Easter bonnets. Two children (brother and sister) won the competition for the best Bonnets and also a P7 pupil.
Each class did a song/rap performance for their parents. Readings were also done by the children telling the Easter Story. This was then followed by an Easter Tea in the Chuirch Hall.
Thank you to everyone who came along.

Our Scottish Assembly

On Wednesday 22nd, we had our Scottish Assembly.

The whole school sang a range of Scottish songs including O Flower of Scotland, Auld Lang Syne and 500 Miles.

Nursery treated us to Three Craws and we also had our guitarists playing a song!

We also had the class winners of the poetry competition recite their poems.

Our Bobby Muir Cup was presented to the P4 winner! Well done!!

Thank you also to Ms Paterson who had the difficult job of judging our competitors.
