Our Scottish Assembly
On Wednesday 22nd, we had our Scottish Assembly.
The whole school sang a range of Scottish songs including O Flower of Scotland, Auld Lang Syne and 500 Miles.
Nursery treated us to Three Craws and we also had our guitarists playing a song!
We also had the class winners of the poetry competition recite their poems.
Our Bobby Muir Cup was presented to the P4 winner! Well done!!
Thank you also to Ms Paterson who had the difficult job of judging our competitors.
Burns’ Day
On Friday 24th January, parents joined us for our Burns’ lunch.
We were then joined by Mr Glendinning, who impressed and entertained us all by reciting the whole of Tam O’Shanter! Thank you very much Mr Glendinning!
Christmas Dinner
On Wednesday 18th December, 2013 we all had our Christmas dinner together. You could have traditional turkey dinner or vegetable bites followed by ice cream and shortbread. Delicious!
A Big thank you to Jackie, Mrs Speakman and Mrs Gillies who served up the dinner.
Christmas Party
Well…. what a super time we all had at our Christams Party. Everyone had their party outfits on danced until we dropped.
We danced along to DJ Clive and won different prizes for different competitions. Then to top it all off SANTA came!! Thanks Santa, we know you are very busy at this time of year.

Halloween Party
Enjoy the photos of our Halloween party! We played lots of games including Corners, Pass the Pumpkin, relay games and Wrap the Mummy.
Our Playground
A big thank you to all the parents who have given up their time to help tidy up, paint and plant new planters in our playground. A special thank you to Mrs Davies, who you would think has taken up residence in the playground, as she has been seen on many an occasion with paintbrush in hand!

Cupcake Sale
This week one of our pupils held a cupcake sale in order to rasie money for the Leonard Cheshire Disability. He raised an amazing £58! Well done! Pupils and staff were very happy on Friday handing over their money as the cakes and gingerbread were delicious! A big thank you must also be given to mum who did a lot of baking!!
