On Wednesday 18th December, 2013 we all had our Christmas dinner together. You could have traditional turkey dinner or vegetable bites followed by ice cream and shortbread. Delicious!
A Big thank you to Jackie, Mrs Speakman and Mrs Gillies who served up the dinner.
Well…. what a super time we all had at our Christams Party. Everyone had their party outfits on danced until we dropped.
We danced along to DJ Clive and won different prizes for different competitions. Then to top it all off SANTA came!! Thanks Santa, we know you are very busy at this time of year.
A big thank you to all the parents who have given up their time to help tidy up, paint and plant new planters in our playground. A special thank you to Mrs Davies, who you would think has taken up residence in the playground, as she has been seen on many an occasion with paintbrush in hand!
This week one of our pupils held a cupcake sale in order to rasie money for the Leonard Cheshire Disability. He raised an amazing £58! Well done! Pupils and staff were very happy on Friday handing over their money as the cakes and gingerbread were delicious! A big thank you must also be given to mum who did a lot of baking!!
Thank you to everyone who came along, gave donations or helped out at the Coffee Morning. £255 was raised in the morning and Nursery also raised about £30 in the afternoon. Thank you again!
❀This year we started our night with a school performance of Sound of Music.
P7’s were the main characters, recapping the story of the Sound of Music. The other children sang enthusiastically songs from the musical.
This was followed by a presentation of shields for Responsible Citizen, Effective Contributor, Successful Learner and Confident Individual. Miss Armit’s Quaich and the Hunter Cup were also presented.
The rest of the P7’s presented a Review of the Year.
Well done to everyone involved! A big thank you also for music provided by Mrs Archibald and Mrs Chalamanda. ❀
