❀ Celebration and Achievement Night ❀
❀This year we started our night with a school performance of Sound of Music.
P7’s were the main characters, recapping the story of the Sound of Music. The other children sang enthusiastically songs from the musical.
This was followed by a presentation of shields for Responsible Citizen, Effective Contributor, Successful Learner and Confident Individual. Miss Armit’s Quaich and the Hunter Cup were also presented.
The rest of the P7’s presented a Review of the Year.
Well done to everyone involved! A big thank you also for music provided by Mrs Archibald and Mrs Chalamanda. ❀
Sports Day
We had a fabulous Sports Day! The rain held off and the children all did their best!
Lots of parents came to give their support, which was great!
The children first of all did potted sports which Miss Howley had arranged. They got into their houses to earn points for the House Cup. They then had sack races, egg and spoon races, running races and a house relay race.
In the end Ardoch won the cup! Well done however, to everyone who competed. ☺
I
Fruity Friday
We had a Fruity Friday where the children brought in their favourite fruit and dressed in the colour of their favourite fruit.
Well done to all the children who did this and raised money for our tuck shop.
