Pupils who are remote learning are now offered the opportunity to join the class at 9:30am every morning via a live link through Teams.

This has been working really well so far, as we start to understand what works and what does not!
The sessions are beginning just after 9:30am, after the pupils in school have ordered their dinner choices, and are lasting until 11am.
We are providing a mixture of literacy and numeracy activities and sessions for the pupils to interact and catch up with each other.
Before joining the synchronous lessons, parents and carers are asked to read the protocol information and agree to the conditions.  This is to create a safe and supportive environment, as it would be in school.

There will be additional Remote Learning Packs provided for P6/7 pupil who are at home and this supports the online lessons with all the resources required to take part in the live activities.

Please get in touch with the school if there is anything you specifically require.
The Remote Learning Packs will be ready for collection on Friday the 26th of February.
If you need anything before then, there are maths videos covering a broad range of written strategies, fractions, decimals and percentages which you could work through on Seesaw.

I am happy to record videos of anything else you would like to work on.
We are busy in class and online putting together a plan of action for our outdoor leaning space and the children are being very creative with their ideas.

We will share what we have done so far, across the school, with our parents and wider community very soon.
We are also busy creating some visual materials for a display in the Dounby Co-op, so that is quite exciting.
Get in touch if you have anything you would like to contribute.
Thank you!
