Warm Up

Watch this video to practise counting in threes.

  • Count on and back in threes – clap, jump, throw a ball etc as you count.
  • Use the 100 square to splat as you count in threes.

 

Main Task

Copy and complete the following 3 times table pages.

Part One

If you have something to help you count in threes eg lego, marbles and baskets, tubs etc to sort them into then you can build up the three times table using these if not draw three trays and draw paint blocks on to show three times table.

For question two write the sums and answers that match.

Another NLC Sumdog competition began this morning and runs for a week till Thursday 11th June at 8pm.  All you need to do is answer Sumdog Maths questions.  When you open Sumdog you should see the competition and how many questions you have to answer.  Remember accuracy is important.

Good Morning P3 – We are starting a new week and a new month today. It always takes me a while to get used to writing a new month in the date – so please let me know if I make a mistake 😊.

  • You can set yourself a time limit if you like.

Some of the addition sums  in this task require carrying over of digits.

Remember – start by adding the units, if the units added together give you a two digit number the ten needs to be carried over.
