Some children have brought in their black trousers/leggings for the Christmas Show but there are many people who still need to bring theirs in. If you could bring them in by no later than Monday 9th that would be really appreciated.
We are also looking for donations of food and drink for the P5 Christmas party on Tuesday 10th December. Please send in juice, individual crisps, shop bought cakes, fun size or sweets .
This afternoon Primary 5 were visited by Mrs Keith who spoke to us about communication and group work. We devised a list of rules for how we should act when working in a group to ensure that everyone has a chance to be heard.
Over the past two days Primary 5 have been working on our product for the Christmas Fayre. We are really proud of our sock snowmen and we are sure that they are going to sell well on Saturday!
Today we were practising for the nativity with Primary 4/5. We decided on our moves for ‘Camel Funk’ and will be deciding our moves for ‘Bethlehem Latitude’ by the end of the week.
Tickets are now on sale at £2 each, limited initially to two per family. It is going to be a fabulous show!
We have had yet another busy week in Primary 5; on Monday we were learning all about remembrance and we made poppy wreaths to commemorate all those who have been affected by war, on Tuesday Mrs Rutherford was teaching us how to make BLT sandwiches in the kitchen and on Thursday we were in the kitchen yet again making biscuits and cakes which were decorated today for our Children in Need fundraising fun day.
I hope everyone enjoyed their activities today and I will see you all on Wednesday!
This year in the Christmas Nativity our class are going to be dressed as camels, and not just any old camels but FUNKY camels! The school will provide the children with a yellow t-shirt and we will be making camel headbands in class. It would be really appreciated if everybody could bring in a pair of black trousers or leggings and any ‘funky’ accessories that you have.
