Today Primary 5/6 have had lots of fun celebrating Halloween.Β The children all look absolutely fantastic in their costumes and have completed a variety of activities such as making Halloween fortune tellers (which are very popular in the class at the moment!) and decorating biscuits. Here are some photos of our day so far:
This afternoon we finished off our haunted house art. Β Primary 5/6 put a huge amount of effort into creating our designs and I think they look brilliant!
Have a look at some of the fantastic work that Primary 5/6 have completed on the Emergency Services. Our good work wall looks brilliant!
This afternoon Primary 5/6 were practising their numbers in French to 69. We are now moving on to days of the week and months of the year. π«π·

Congratulations to this weekβs star writers! πππΌ
Our star writers each wrote a fantastic letter to Grant the paramedic to thank him for taking the time to show us inside his ambulance and answer our questions. Β Great work!
Today we began our football P.E. block. As a reminder, our outdoor P.E. slots are on Mondays and Wednesdays. We also complete the daily mile every day so please make sure that your child is in appropriate clothing. Β βοΈπ¨
Starting this week we will also have a weekly slot in the gym hall where we will be doing yoga. π§πΌββοΈ
Today we heard from Grant, a paramedic who works at Cumbernauld Ambulance Station. Β He was kind enough to show us around one of their ambulances and answer questions from some of the children in the school.
This afternoon, we wrote letters thanking him for taking the time to create the videos and for helping all of the people in the community.
Have a fantastic October week everyone, Iβll see you soon!
This morning we had our weekly virtual assembly where we heard from the latest batch of Primary 6βs who are running to become vice-house captain. Very well done to the four Primary 6βs in our class who delivered their speech today; they all spoke confidently, clearly and were very convincing. Good luck to all the Primary 6βs who are running – it is going to be a very tough choice!
