Primary 5/6 have had a really busy day so far; Mrs Davidson was doing some more information handling this morning in the form of tally charts and then we were working on our handwriting. This afternoon we have been doing a little more work on our oceans topic; focussing on the Arctic and Southern Oceans. 🌊🐟

Today in maths we were working at rounding to the nearest 10 and 100, reading and writing numbers and counting on and back. This afternoon we have been doing a little more topic work, learning about the 5 oceans 🌊.

Last week we had a vote as to what we wanted our topic this term to be and Oceans of the World was the winner! Today we learned the name of each of the five oceans, where they are found and what continents they surround.
