Today we are going to do some work on our spelling.
There are lots of different things you can do if you aren’t sure how to spell a word ✍🏽:
· Say the word out loud slowly and think about the sounds you can hear at the beginning, middle and end.
· Can you hear a little word you know inside the word e.g. sandle
· Say the word out loud and listen for the syllables. Spell each syllable separately e.g. car–a–van = caravan
· Do you know a word that sounds a bit like your word? How is it spelt? E.g. lunch –> bunch
⭐⭐The most important thing with spelling is just to have a go and try your best to spell your word – it doesn’t matter if you are wrong ⭐⭐!
