Assessment and Reporting
Learning and Teaching Scotland are currently reviewing formal assessment procedures, you can find out more about this by visiting their website. The link for this can be found in our useful website area in the Parentzone.
Formative and summative assessments made by the class teacher will continue to take place. In addition to this your child will be encouraged to be more involved in self and peer assessment on a daily basis.
Reporting
We provide parents with the opportunity to come and discuss their child’s progress both formally and informally. Our two formal meetings with parents are held in November and March. Parents are welcome to arrange interviews with their child’s class teacher outwith these dates if they are really concerned about their child’s progress.
Annual reports are sent out to parents in June.
