The Fairtrade Council are proud to announce that we have contributed 237 breakfasts to the Big Fairtrade Breakfast Challenge….so far!

It is not too late to buy a Fairtrade fruit juice and cereal bar.  Please bring £1 next week if you’d like to “Sit Down For Breakfast and Stand Up For Farmers!”

Friday Blog

This has been another fun and busy week for Primary 1.

We watched a very interesting video about Chifundo.  His village has electricty, a bore hole and a school all thanks to Fairtrade! We can still buy a Fairtrade snack next week for £1.

Fairtrade Fortnight

We had great fun making Fairtrade logos today. We learned that when we see the logo on items at the shop, we know that the farmers have been paid a fair price for what they have grown.

The Fairtrade Council are selling Fairtrade fruit juice and cereal bars throughout Fairtrade Fortnight for the bargain price of £1 for one of each. Snap them up while you can!
