The Polar Express

We boarded the Polar Express and took a trip to Germany! We learned lots of interesting things about how German people celebrate Christmas.  We learned that German children put a shoe at their door on Christmas Eve.  If they have been good, Santa fills their shoes will sweets.  If the children are on the naughty list, Santa fills their shoes with twigs! IMG_0773 IMG_0775

An exciting delivery…

IMG_0556Today, P1b were very lucky to receive a very exciting letter all the way from the North Pole! Jingle the Elf has asked us to help him find out about how people celebrate Christmas in Germany.  He sent us tickets for the Polar Express so tomorrow we will be going on an adventure! We can’t wait to see what we can find out.
