Nurse McQuade’s Visit

Nurse McQuade visited our class on Tuesday.   She told us all about her job.    She brought in aprons, masks and gloves for us to try on.   We also got to fill syringes with water and try them out.   This was fun.   We enjoyed Nurse McQuade’s visit very much.

“She let us try on some uniform,” said Lily.

“Nurse McQuade let us try syringes with water in them,” said Lewis.

“We tried on bandages,” said Emilie.

“We tried on doctor’s masks,” said Dylan.

“We put on hospital gloves,” said Eilidh.

“Nurse McQuade answered all our questions,” said Conor.

Scottish Castles

“Castles have turrets and battlements,”  says Lewis.

“Castles have very thick walls,” says Emilie.

“The turrets have pointed roofs,” says Summer.

“Castles sit high up on a hill,” says Lauren.
