We have been out in our school grounds picking up some litter.   We are encouraging everyone to put their litter in the bin to make our playground beautiful.

Equipment needed:

Glass, Paper, Glass Pens, Labels , Scissors

Sequence:

First draw some Christmas pictures.

Next put the drawings inside the glass.

Then copy the drawings onto the glass using the glass pens.

Finally place a tealight in the glass .

We are enjoying our cycling in P2.   We can cycle around a “roundabout”, ride on a “busy” road and practise turns and twists on a “bendy, winding” road.

Primary 2 are enjoying their first week back at school.   Already we have been learning about the “Olympics”, walking our daily mile, adding numbers together and writing about what we can do well.   We are a busy bunch!!

“We went down to the pitch and played pirate ship with a ball,” said Emilie.

“We bounced on the bouncy castle,” said Owen.

“We did an assault, agility course in the hall,” said Daniel.

“We exercised in the GP room,” said Sophie.

“We enjoyed the hurdles, ” said  Cooper.

“I liked going through the hoops,” said Eilidh.

The children have enjoyed taking part in the training sessions over the past term.   They took part in the cycle test last Thursday and I am delighted with the high standard of cycling among the group.  They all passed the test with flying colours!!

Costumes for P2 are a choice of “party clothes” or “summer clothes”.

Bright and summery to be eye-catching on stage.   Please give your child their costume in a labelled bag.   Many thanks.

We had an excellent trip to Deep Sea World today.   We saw sharks, stingrays, crabs and many other sea creatures that we have been learning about in class.    We enjoyed the talk about rock pools and seeing the seals being fed.    A visit to the shop was also good fun.
