This week in the English department at Taylor:
1C1 and 2K1 are continuing to take part in our literacy pilot about climate change. This is an incredibly important topic and skills will be developed that they can use across the curriculum so this is an exciting unit!
Higher classes will have a RUAE assessment this week. Hopefully they’ve been revising hard but class teachers are contactable through Teams if there’s any doubts or questions.
S4 will be completing some revision this week to ensure they are ready for their Progress Assessment. These begin next week with the English paper 1 on 24th November 1:15pm- 2:15pm and paper 2 at 2:30pm-3:45pm.
Christmas units will be started soon if they haven’t already begun with S1 creating their own Christmas magazines and S2 studying Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”.
