Pupils should complete a Directed Writing Assignment and submit it to Mrs Jackson by Friday. Pupils should try to complete this as close to exam conditions as possible.
S1 Spanish
Pupils should work through the PowerPoint, Describing yourself. Then complete a Listening task, Listos 1 Track 16. Pupils should listen and take notes of how every person describes themselves.
S5/6 N5 English
Pupils are continuing work on The Lighthouse and will focus on characterisation. Pupils should also make sure they have handed in the textual analysis practice assignment.
Miss McKenna’s class can join a tutorial on Thursday, periods 3 and 4. Miss Sullivan’s class can join a tutorial on the following Monday, periods 6 and 7.
S3 English Mr Kedra’s class
Pupils will focus on catching up with any incomplete or partially completed work. Pupils should have four paragraphs altogether in their Knife Crime persuasive essay.

This week pupils are starting a new unit of work on Roald Dahl’s short story, ‘Lamb to the Slaughter’. The PowerPoint can be found on MS Teams in the General channel>Files>Class Materials>Lamb to the Slaughter.

This week S1 pupils will be planning their own Burns supper from start to finish, thinking about: food, drink, entertainment and music.

Pupils should choose ONE book from the online book catalogue (attached) and submit their choice via MS Forms (see below). Any issues with the form or any questions should be directed by emailing mjburton@taylor.n-lanark.sch.uk You can also use this email to order your book if that is easier.
