This week pupils will be doing some cultural work to learn about how Easter is celebrated in Spain. Pupils should complete the tasks in the PowerPoint and on the word document all about Semana Santa.

This week pupils will be looking at how to answer a past paper on Sailmaker. They will then complete the 2014 past paper at home and should bring their answers into class next week.

This week pupils are continuing their unit of work on Persuasive Writing.

This week pupils are continuing work on portfolio writing skills in class. For home learning, pupils should complete the tasks on reflective writing from pages 44-49 in the textbook.

This week pupils will be working on the RUAE passage, ‘The Great Escape’ in class. For home learning, pupils should complete “The Lure of the Bike” on pages 67-69 of the textbook on MS Teams.​

 

 

This week pupils are continuing with the Literacy block in class, looking at a writer’s main ideas. For home learning, pupils should complete the ‘bringing it all together’ task on pages 14-16 of the textbook on MS Teams.

On Tuesday in class pupils will be doing a Listening task, correcting directed writing homework and talking practice. At home, pupils should then complete the second Employability reading passage and “problemas de dinero” translation task.

This week, pupils should continue with their work on ‘Family’ and should complete any unfinished work that they have not yet submitted.

This week pupils will be starting a new Literacy block on Portfolio Writing Skills unit in class, focusing on Personal Reflective/Creative Writing.

For home learning, they should complete tasks 1-3 (slides 7-10) on the ‘Literacy Block’ PowerPoint, in the Literacy Block folder on MS Teams.
