This week, pupils will continue with a Media Unit on ‘Jurassic Park’. They will start to analyse film techniques used.

This week, pupils are continuing with a Media Unit on Disney’s ‘Up’. They will look at the different characters in detail and start to analyse film techniques.

This week pupils will focus on Sailmaker and will complete the 2015 past paper.

This week pupils will continue their work on Persuasive Writing.

This week pupils will continue work on Portfolio Writing Skills. Pupils will focus on imaginative writing and will look at how to structure this kind of writing.

This week pupils are continuing to work on RUAE skills and will complete the practice paper, ‘The Drummer Boy’.

This week pupils will continue to work on the Literacy Block unit. Pupils will focus on analysing language and style.

In class this week pupils will be practicing listening skills and will look over directed writing phrases. At home, pupils should complete Employability Reading task 3.

This week pupils will continue to work on exercises relating to ‘Jobs and Future plans.’

Pupils will be learning about Easter in France. Pupils should work through the PowerPoint and complete the quiz.
