The Great P3/4 Bake Off
On their second last day of school our P3/4 bakers took part in a technical baking challenge.
They had to follow a recipe for Fifteens cake – but reduce all ingredient quantities to 7.
They worked as a team to follow the instructions and make the cake how they thought it should look.
The cakes were then judged based on taste and appearance by our special guest judges – Mrs Toolan, Mrs Kustelak and Mrs Cappie. They all agreed it was a tough decision, but the winners were the Yellow team!
Well done everyone!
What a fun way to end a fantastic year in P3/4.

P3/4 Trip to Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum
On Tuesday our P3/4 artists took a trip to Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum where they took part in a fantastic workshop based on The Glasgow Boys.
As we have been studying these artists in school, we were thrilled to see their paintings in real life!
After the workshop we enjoyed walking round the gallery looking at the many exhibits there.
A great day was had by all!

Outdoor Learning in Primary 2
Last week we had a great time in the sun working on our numeracy and literacy. We completed our learning on measurement by doing a scavenger hunt using measurement terms. We had fun exploring the playground.

Eco Update: Looking After the Garden
The Eco Committee have been hard at work in our garden weeding and planting new seeds to attract some wildlife.
They also worked together to make Bee and Butterfly Feeders using bamboo, card and bottle tops.
As bottle tops can’t be recycled we were happy to be giving them a new use. We filled the bottle tops with sugar water in the hopes of attracting some insect friends.
