Hello from Prinary 6/7,

This week we have been working hard as there are a lot of things to cover and we are nearing the end of term! The primary 7 children have been working hard on their reflective essays which will be sent to St Ambrose at the end of the year, we have been creating a discursive essay on the role of sustainable energy and the effectiveness of these. The children have been using their research to create their piece of discursive writing. We will also be carrying out our assessment of our fractions block which we have now completed.

The Pope Francis Faith Award will be coming to a close next week for the Primary 7 pupils as  their work will now be assessed and sent away to the diocese. The children have worked hard and put in a lot of effort into this award and I’ve seen how determined the children are to receive this award after their hard work.

The class have now been putting the finishing touches to our Caribbean sunset art today. As you can see they are very effective and vibrant! Puts us in the mood for our summer holidays!

We had a visit from TACS (Truck and Child Safety) this week where we learned about the dangers of trucks and going near them. We learned a lot and had great fun!
