Today we welcomed a boxing couch from Ecosse ABC Boxing club in Coatbridge. He worked with our classes to teach them boxing skills, fitness and discipline as part of their Golden Time activity for the week.

Today some of the children who are going to St Kevins Primary School visited the Primary One classroom to meet Mrs Pearson, the teacher and their new chums. They listened to a story and had the opportunity to sit with their chum and complete an activity. This process will continue until June. It allows the children to gain an understanding of the school layout and the class routines as well as meet the teaching staff.
